About

Hocking Hills State Park is mix of areas in a vast area known as the Hocking Hills Region. The landscape and flora and fauna are some of the most amazing and diverse in the state. Towering cliffs, waterfalls, wildflowers, and caves dominate this area. Hocking Hills State Park is actually composed of six distinct areas scattered around the region with a State Forest and a State Nature Preserve often included in literature. There is a campground, cabins, lodge, visitor center, and miles of trails, along with all of the natural features mentioned above.

I’ve included resource pages for each of the individual areas below:

  1. Old Man’s Cave
  2. Whispering Cave
  3. Ash Cave
  4. Rock House
  5. Cantwell Cliffs
  6. Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve
  7. Hocking State Forest
  8. Cedar Falls
