About

Blendon Woods Metro Park is a 363 acre wooded park with several nature trails, non-reservable picnic areas, reservable picnic areas, disc-golf, nature center, waterfowl refuge, stream cut ravines, spectacular woods, large open prairies, and playgrounds. Trails are well marked and maintained with wide passages. Parking is plentiful near the park entrance and the nature center.

The park features programs for all ages, most being led by the park naturalists including adult hikes, preschool programs, and other children’s activities. Check out the events calendar at their official website in the links below. The reservable shelters are quite nice with various amenities including private playgrounds and private restrooms. Other activities include cross-country skiing and ice skating in the winter, natural play areas, and disc golf.

Pets are NOT permitted on most of the trails, with the exception of the Goldenrod Trail near the Nature Center. Pets are also permitted in the picnic areas. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times for the protection of the wildlife and the flora.

Location: Northeastern Columbus, Ohio south of SR 161 and Little Turtle Parkway off of Old East Dublin Granville Road.
