Location: Various locations along Big Darby Creek in Madison County, Ohio from US 40 to Harrisburg.
Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park is over 7000 acres and stretches for 13 miles along the State and National Scenic Big Darby Creek. The park features many miles of trails, picnic areas, canoe access to the creek, sled hill, a Native American earthworks site, and fishing access. There are wetlands, prairies, and wooded ravines. There are even bison which roam the prairies on the north end in both a summer and winter pasture. Hunting is also permitted in some designated areas.
