This is my second hike of the Columbus and Franklin Park Metro Parks Winter Hike Challenge. I have to do 6 assigned parks each month for 3 months, and a total of 18 to complete the challenge.
Batelle Darby Creek Metro Park is west of Columbus and follows a 13 mile stretch of Big and Little Darby Creeks and covers over 1600 acres. I’ve been to this large park many times and today I opted for a short hike in the Cedar Ridge Area. This area is hilly, and the views are intense.
