Where: Sharon Woods Metro Park, Columbus, Ohio
Bloom Status: Early in the bloom cycle.
Color and Shape: Deep Purple flowers arranged in a table-top on a tall spike
Density of Colony: Scattered
Notes: It can grow over 6 ft tall. Sometimes you will find a large colony of Ironweed in full sun in the open fields.
