Pymatuning State Park straddles the Pennsylvania border about halfway between Ashtabula and Youngstown, Ohio and features a 14,000 acre lake, campground, many boat ramps, and touts some of the best Walleye and Muskie fishing in the state. On the PA side, there is Linesville Spillway, which has so many carp around it, that it’s said, “the ducks walk on the fishes backs.” I camped here for a few days while hiking several other parks in the area.

On the northern PA side of the lake this spillway is called Linesville.
The parking lot at the spillway is quite large.

I went two mornings and had breakfast at Andover Diner. The brick building on the left.

I thought this was cool outside of a thrift store next door.
This is called “The Mess” on the breakfast menu. Highly recommended. Eggs, Hash Browns, Sausage, Ham, Peppers, Onions, and Cheese.
In my search of good coney dogs, on the way home, I stopped in Canton at Country Cones.

The two dogs I got, Coney Dog w/ Cheese add relish (top), Mad Dog (bottom). Not the best I’ve had, but not bad.
