Garmin inReach Mini 2

This satellite communicator works without cell signal. It sends texts to emergency channels and even to your loved ones. It can also interface with your phone using bluetooth. I bought this when I fell once while out alone on a trail, far away from help. Luckily I wasn’t hurt, but it made me think. It does require a subscription, which is somewhere around $15/month, depending on the level you want. I think it even goes lower cost as well.
