Location: About a quarter mile on Tick Ridge-Koenig Hill Road just SW of Otway, Ohio.
Trout Lilies are very common across Ohio, however this preserve features a variety that is very rare, the Golden Star Trout Lily, which is upward facing and has yellow anthers rather than the downward facing and brown anther more common variety. They have both here, but there are so many spring wildflowers here that catching this place in the peak is a great reward. The trails and ravines are also incredible.
