Location: West of Greenville on SR 502 just east of the intersection with Palestine-Union City Road.
Eidson Woods Preserve is 70 acres of mostly mature woodlands with some very large trees, but also has a prairie and swamp wetland. The environment supports amazing wildflowers in the spring as well as a healthy population of amphibians. The preserve is run by Darke County Parks and has a couple short loop trails of less than two miles.
