Location: Just southeast of Peebles, Ohio on Davis Memorial Road.
Davis Memorial State Nature Preserve has an impressive array of the Dolomite layers. In fact, there is a fault line here, which has a 30 foot displacement between layers and can be see from the main trail. Also several rare species of plants thrive here including some prairie species in the higher areas and woodland species in the lower gorge areas.
