Location: South of Wilminton, Ohio at 8865 State Route 730.
Just south of Cowan Lake State Park is Culbertson Woods State Nature Preserve. It is a 280 acre wet forest with some amazing trees and some notable summer wildflowers like Purple Fringeless Orchid and Cardinal Flower. There is a 3 mile loop trail through the preserve.
