Location: Just southeast of Lancaster, Ohio off US 33 at 185 Clear Creek Rd.
On the edge of the Hocking Hills Region is Clear Creek Metro Park at 5300 acres of Hemlock wooded ravines with sandstone outcroppings and many rare species of plants and animals. Over 4700 acres of this park is also the Allen F Beck State Nature Preserve. There are many miles of trails to hike and some of them can be challenging from an elevation standpoint.
