Cedar Bog is an incredible fen, which is a freshwater fed swamp, rather than a stagnant swamp. The number of rare species here is staggering including a huge population of White Cedar aka Arborvitae, Showy Ladies Slipper, Fringed Gentian, Poison Sumac, as well as Masaqua Rattlesnake among others. There is a small fee to enter, but it helps with the conservation efforts here.
