Buckeye Furnace Memorial is a 270 acre site with a completely restored iron furnace which fueled Ohio’s iron producing boom in the mid 1800s. In addition to the furnace and its attached buildings, there is an old store, which is now a museum, covered bridge, original caretaker house still functioning, and a few outbuildings where they processed the materials which fed the furnace.
