Location: Just southeast of Zanesville, Ohio.
On the south side of a Blue Rock State Forest, is the 322 acre Blue Rock State Park. The park features a picturesque lake, beach, a few picnic areas, a main campground which is primative without electric, and an upper campground which also had bridle sites. There are numerous trails through scenic ravines with wildflowers and some rock formations. The adjoining forest has many miles of bridle trails which can also be explored.
