Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa)

Bloom Status: Middle of bloom cycle.

Color and Shape: Pink (sometimes almost white) flowers button shaped on a 3 ft tall stem.

Density of Colony: Small groups

Notes: It is a member of the mint family. Considered medicinal, used in tea to treat colds. Forms in colonies in open fields. Loved by butterflies and bees.
