20220116 – Hocking Hills State Park – Cottage

Date: 01/14/2022-01/16/2022 – Basecamp

I came to Hocking Hills State Park for the annual Winter Hike. This is the 56th year, they have done this hike, and my second. And for the weekend, I chose to stay in one of the nice State Park Cabin/Cottages near Old Man’s Cave and the Lodge.

They are building a new lodge here to replace the old one which burned down in 2016.
It’s going to be bigger and nicer than the old one.
Because the leaves are down, you can see it from the road going to the cabins.
The lodge entrance is gated because of construction.
But I managed to capture this image over the fence.
The cabin/cottage I was in was nice. This is the living room.
The kitchen.

Back porch.

The view out the back.
Another view of the living room/kitchen.
There is plenty of space between neighbors.
