20210919 – Lake Alma State Park – Morning Hike

Date: 09/19/2021 – Distance: 2.4 mi – Elapsed Time: 1.25 hr – Ascent: 112 ft – Descent: 213 ft – Difficulty: Easy

Sometimes I do a morning “warm-up” before heading to my next destination. This morning, I walked the multipurpose trail around Lake Alma.

Sign at the campground entrance.
The sun was just starting to rise above the hill behind me and the lake had a light fog over the surface.
There’s a gazebo on the peninsula by the campground.
And some docks as well.
I’m on the other side of the lake now.
The sun makes the mist glow around the bridge.
This picnic shelter is near the beach.
The public boat ramp.
Nice place to stop.
Made it all the way around.
Cool Turkey Tail fungus.
