Coppess Nature Sanctuary is a small 32 acre park managed by Darke County Parks. It features many large oak trees, along with 38 species of trees. There is also quite of display of spring ephemeral wildflowers here as well. The trail is less than a mile loop and is flat and easy.

I met up on this Saturday for a tour of 6 Darke County Parks with my friend Brett from Ohio Hiking Trails and Historical Sites. This was our third hike of the day.
