Cooperrider Kent Bog State Nature Preserve is a small preserve near Kent, Ohio on Meloy Road. It features a short boardwalk trail and many rare plants including the largest remaining stand of Tamarack Pines in Ohio, as well as Gray Birch. Originally a kettle lake formed when a large block of ice broke off from the retreating glacier, it is now filled in with vegetation and all bog.
