Saturday morning, I drove into Chagrin Falls to get some coffee and a breakfast bagel from Einstein’s. I knew they had a waterfall here, but I didn’t know it was so dramatic. Riverside Park has a few walking trails around the falls and dam right in downtown.

I actually parked on the bridge over the Chagrin River.
I found a walkway down to the falls.
Downtown map including Riverside Park.
There is a set of stairs down to below the falls which are to the right.
And they are dramatic.
The buildings are perched right on the bedrock of the falls.
This water is coming out of the bedrock under the building.
And you can get right up to the falls. The power is immense.
Looking down river. There’s another one of those Mylar balloons, which I see everywhere. Don’t let these go outside.
Wide angle shot of the falls. Starbucks is on the opposite bank in the building with the staircase center photo.
Flowering Quince.
This is upriver of the falls.
There is also a small dam, upriver.
It’s also pretty intense.
Viburnum. They smell amazing.
Standing on the bridge looking at the dam.
The bedrock is pretty intense shapes right under the river.
There is also a walkway on the opposite bank with another view.
Such power.
Now I’m on the bridge over the falls.
You can see the other walkway down there.
I stood here for a bit and just took in the majesty.
